Trevor and I had dreamed about moving to Canada for as long as we can remember. Life goes on and you get busy living and your dreams get pushed to the back of your mind. Someone once said to me, life is something that happens to you whilst you are busy making plans for the future. We had travelled through the Okanagan Valley, 18 years ago, with my parents, and we were in awe of the beautiful scenery, things to do, and clean Canadian living. In 2003 I lost my father to Cancer. Dad always said to us, “life is what you make it, so make it what you like!” He was such fun. You can read about the fun we had in our life in England on the sub page connected to this one. If there was one thing I learnt from my experience, it was to act now, as we do not know what our future holds.
